Youku released an extra 5 minutes after the finale which was adapted from the very last scene in the novel. For those who have read the novel, you'll know which part I mean. For those who didn't, this will be a scene you've been waiting for since episode 26.

Simply search "少年歌行 复活彩蛋" and I assure you there will be links to sites you can watch it. Just use a secure browser and ad-blockers. :P To know you're viewing the right video, it should be less than 5 minutes long and the first image you should see is the signboard of Fallen Snow Villa (see picture below).

The last winter had passed, and this winter had also passed.
But the innkeeper was still not back.
Without the miserly innkeeper, the workers managed to keep the business running for a while, yet business at Fallen Snow Villa was improving steadily.
"Say, Hulu, do you think our laoban will ever come back? It's been so many years. Should we go look for him?"
Xu Hulu was one of the more senior workers. Because he looked sort of like a gourd, they called him Xu Hulu. He wiped the table as he replied, "He's always offending people when he talks and so stingy when dealing with people. Maybe he's being held captive by someone outside." He started wiping the teacups when he was interrupted by a familiar voice.
"Who's badmouthing me?"
The two waiters looked up in shock. They dropped whatever they were doing and rushed over to greet Xiao Se excitedly. "It's laoban! Laoban! Laoban!"
"Laoban! You're finally back!"
They met the returning Xiao Se, Lei Wujie, Sikong Qianluo and Ye Ruoyi outside the inn.
Xiao Se led the rest into the inn as he raised an eyebrow. "Why? Would you rather I never came back so this shop will then be yours?"
"No way no way, laoban!" Xu Hulu clarified hurriedly. "While you were away these few years, I recorded every bill and account properly. They're all on the counter. The money too. I've been waiting for laoban to come back so that I can hand it all over to you!"
"Not bad. You're a good worker. Didn't waste my effort in treating you well." Xiao Se gestured for everyone to take a seat before he turned to Xu Hulu. "Serve some food and wine. My treat."
"Hah?" Xu Hulu was shocked and he felt his heart go cold. "Are... you really our laoban? Are you an imposter in disguise? Replaced?"
"A bowl of yangchun noodles each for these three. Just garnish with a little spring onions. A bowl of beef noodles for me, extra beef," Xiao Se said slowly.
"Coming right up." Xu Hulu responded cheerfully. "He's the genuine article, all right. No mistake." He ran off with the other waiter to prepare the food.
"You're the world renowned Yong'an Prince, the legend who was victorious against Nanjue. Now, the Emperor has even conferred you with perpetual primogeniture. You're only treating us to noodles?" Ye Ruoyi said with a smile.
Xiao Se sighed with displeasure. "I'm just an innkeeper. What Yong'an Prince? Does the imperial court pay me?"
Ye Ruoyi smirked knowingly.
"You've gotten everything you hoped for, and you're now back in your Fallen Snow Villa. Everything is great now. So, what are our plans next?" Sikong Qianluo asked.
Xiao Se paused before he replied, "Go wandering about, I suppose."
Lei Wujie's interest was piqued and he announced loudly, "Chu Ge, the swordsman from Nanjue who uses twin sabres, has reappeared in the martial world. He issued a challenge to Snow Moon City and wants to visit. I intend to meet his challenge.
"A few days ago, a child named Er Tiao came to Snow Moon City. He likes using pebbles as a weapon. I intend to take him as my disciple. But, he already has a shifu. His shifu's name is Chang Yi. I think he's a well-known martial expert? Apparently, if I can defeat him, I can take away his disciple.
"See, the martial world is such a splendid place. Aren't you guys excited just thinking about it?"
Sikong Qianluo rolled her eyes. "Why are you so full of nonsense? Where exactly are you going?"
Lei Wujie looked into the distance, his eyes burning brightly. "The martial world."
Xiao Se and Sikong Qianluo exchanged a glance and immediately agreed in silence. They ignored the idiot next to them.
"Coming right up, your noodles are here." The waiters quickly served four bowls of noodles.
As the four guests started on their noodles, Xu Hulu and the other waiter exchanged glances. Xu Hulu asked hesitantly, "Laoban, are you... leaving again?"
"Don't worry, I won't be gone as long this time. Take good care of my Fallen Snow Villa." Xiao Se nodded in his direction. Xu Hulu bowed happily and grinned at his friend.
Another guest, dressed all in black, was approaching the inn. "My friends, where are you all going?"
The four felt a jolt in their hearts, and they quickly turned to look at the newcomer. Xiao Se's expression turned from disbelief into joy.
"That day, I lost all my martial arts so Lianyue-shifu took me into hiding. Now that we're reunited, your martial arts have become more powerful than mine."
They couldn't help but remember all the times that their da-shixiong had stood in front of them and protected them. From the first time they met on a snowy night, to Beauty Villa and the confrontation with the Nine Dragon Temple, to Snow Moon City, the escape from Tang Sect, the battle at Lei Clan Fort, and the perilous journey to the immortal mountain beyond the sea. All these and more, da-shixiong was always there for them.
Tang Lian looked at the four, his face beaming with a wide smile.
But, one of their friends was still missing. Thousands of miles away, on a barren land covered with snow, Wuxin stood at the edge of a cliff and felt his approach. He didn't have to turn around to know who it was. As Xiao Se walked up to the monk, Wuxin's lips curled into a wry smile.
