雪月城 xue yue cheng / Snow Moon City
The number one sect in the martial world due to the three citymasters who are all powerful martial experts, easily ranked in the top 10 of the martial world. The present citymasters are Baili Dongjun, Li Hanyi and Sikong Changfeng. Before the three of them came, Snow Moon City had martial experts too but it was only a small city known for its beautiful scenery.

One of the largest and most prestigious families with a long history. They specialize in fist and finger techniques as well as explosives. The present clan leader is Lei Qianhu.

Another large and prestigious family with a long history. They specialize in hidden weapons and poison. The head of Tang Sect is called Grandmaster Tang.

无双城 wu shuang cheng / Unrivaled City
A prestigious sect who once held the number one position before Snow Moon City overtook them. They’re known for their skills of manipulating swords with their internal strength. The present citymaster is Song Yanhui.

青城山 qing cheng shan / Qingcheng Mountain
A prestigious Daoist sect which overtook Wudang Sect as the most prestigious due to the presence of Lu Suzhen (Zhao Yuzhen’s master). They specialize in Daoist arts and swordplay. The present sectmaster is Zhao Yuzhen.

剑心冢 jian xin zhong / Sword Heart Tomb
A reclusive sect that is responsible for forging top grade swords. They forged two of the top 10 famous swords under Heaven. The successor of the Tomb carries the fourth-ranked Heart sword, forged by their founder. The present tombmaster is Li Suwang.

温家 wen jia / Wen Clan
Another reclusive sect who seldom show themselves in the martial world. They specialize in poisons and are even more adept at using poison than Tang Sect. The present clan leader is Wen Hujiu.

天外天 tian wai tian / Outerheaven
The major sect in the Demonic Cult, their home is far in the north beyond the ice fields and glaciers. They were banned from entering Beili for twelve years after their defeat. The previous sect leader was Ye Dingzhi.

A collection of sects that united under Ye Dingzhi to invade Beili twelve years ago.

暗河 an he / Hidden River
An organization of assassins who keep themselves well-hidden until they’re hired for a job. They have no scruples and no morals and weigh every decision on profit and loss. Divided into three houses: Su, Xie and Mu. Su House specializes in weapon arts, Xie House specializes in internal energy and fists arts, and Mu House specializes in medicinal (poisons) and secret arts. The present Patriarch is Su Changhe.

慕凉城 mu liang cheng / Admirable Desolation City
Located in the west, this is an abandoned border city and now, only one man lives in the city: Luo Qingyang, the Solitary Sword Immortal.

天启城 tian qi cheng / Heavenly Revelations City
This is the imperial capital of Beili where the Emperor lives. There are also many martial experts within the city, including the Grand Eunuchs and State Preceptor. The present Emperor is Mingde Emperor, Xiao Ruojin.

百晓堂 bai xiao tang / Bai Xiao Hall
Bai Xiao means all-knowing. Based in Heavenly Revelations City, the organization gathers information from all over the country and they also trade in information if there’s profit to be made. Although they appear to be on the side of the imperial family, they do not work openly with them. The present hallmaster is Ji Ruofeng, though he has been missing for many years.
